| My version of Pinocchio characters from Carlo Collodi's story. My take on that story was a dark, frightful world. | |||

| Pinky's Gang from the Wind and the Willow story. That's Pinky in the middle. On the top row, those figures are how I begin with quick acrylic silhouettes done in grey. I drew over the acrylic with pen, scanned them into the computer and finished them in Photoshop. | |||

| This story is based on one my friend told me. It's about a guy who went to a hospital to test a new drug. He had to eat brownies that temporarily make you stronger. To test his strength, he fought a robot. | |||

These life paintings were done in Bob Kato's Visual Communication 5 class. He wanted us to push our figures and experiment. I had a lot of fun in that class. |

| The assignment for this illustration was to design a tree house. I set my tree house underwater and used a Mary Blair style influence. | |||

| The assignment was to illustrate a French hotel set in the 1800's. I designed my hotel in Disney’s 101 Dalmatian’s style. | |||

| My Mom will be graduating from college this winter. She is a triathlete and ironman, that's why she is on a bike. I made this illustration to send out as an invitation to her graduation party. | |||

I had to illustrate a paragraph from a book for this illustration. I can't remember what the paragraph was, but it was description of a dessert in a Chuck Palahniuk novel. |

These are some gesture drawings from life. After reading "Drawn to Life" by Walt Stanchfield, I have focused on gesture and story telling in my recent drawings. |

| More life drawings. The female in the center was the longest pose at 15 minutes. | |||

| I think both of these are 10 minute poses. | |||

| I did these drawings while in school. At the time I was focused on correct anatomy. | |||

I did these sketches at a farm 45 minutes north of Los Angeles. I spent all day with the pigs and it was a lot of fun. The pigs reminded me of dogs the way they acted. Here's a short YouTube video of me petting a pig:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmTHQ_x5e-g |

| This illustration is based on Pinocchio from Carlo Collodi's story. In that story Pinocchio was a very bad child. Here I illustrated Gepetto building Pinocchio and the first thing he does is punch Gepetto in the face. | |||
